Beach Shower How it works:
The shower is designed to be used under "normal" water supply conditions with a pressure of less than 3 bars (3 kg). Otherwise a pressure reducer is required.
Water that is very rich in limescale should be equipped with a filter.
There is a 2-year warranty on the construction. This warranty does not cover damage caused by frost.
Some considerations are fundamental for us in respect of the customer, even if only for information, because we propose solar heated showers with stainless steel AISI 316L:
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN STAINLESS STEEL AISI 304 AND AISI 316
Stainless steel AISI 304 is an austenitic steel containing Chromium (18%) and Nickel (8%) defined by the acronym 18/8.
AISI 316 stainless steel is also an austenitic steel containing Chromium (18%), Nickel (8%) and Molybdenum (3%), defined by the initials 18/8/3.
The difference between AISI 304 and 316 is given by the presence of Molybdenum, and in some cases by a slightly higher concentration of Nickel.
AISI 316 steel is used in very aggressive environments, where there are many corrosive factors prolonged over time. These environments include marine areas, saline environments, areas affected by salt spreading, areas in contact with chemical substances).
AISI 304 steel is used in environments where there are corrosive factors but less important than those indicated for AISI 316.
In these cases we could mention prolonged exposure to environmental agents, contact with water etc.
AISI 316 or AISI 316L?
The stainless steels, thanks to their intrinsic property of passivation, are metal alloys naturally resistant to corrosion.
The stainless steel AISI 316L, also called "1.4404" differs from the stainless steel AISI 316 (1.4401) for the lower quantity of carbon present. Specifically, the amount of carbon present in AISI 316L stainless steel must be equal to 0.03 while in AISI 316 stainless steel it is equal to 0.07. They guarantee excellent resistance to corrosion and for this reason they are perfect for the construction of systems that convey drinking water where it is necessary to guarantee the maintenance of purity without suffering any degradation over time.
We have opted for 316L stainless steel in order to give the best to our customers
Some advice on maintenance, they are not generic, try to follow them, you have made an investment:
Shower cleaning
Use specific products for stainless steel and not rough cloths, taking care to clean following the direction in order not to damage the surface. Avoid using abrasive sponges and steel wool, nor water that is very hard, dirty or contains debris. Avoid using chlorine-based cleaners, such as bleach.
Dismantle the solar shower at the end of the season, it is not suitable to resist frost. Store it in a place covered from the weather. Follow the instructions in the enclosed manual
Article finished with microbead blasting plus electropolishing
Microbead blasting prolongs the life of the shower by means of a mechanical micro-deformation process
Subsequent electropolishing increases resistance to corrosion, a better surface asepticity and an easier maintenance
