Supplied as standard with a practical shower head, hot/cold water mixer and foot wash basin, from the foot wash basin only cold water
INSTALLATION
1 - Choose a location as exposed as possible to direct light (ideally 360°), close to a water supply and drainage.
2 - Install the shower head by screwing it onto the shower body.
3 - On a solid support (concrete, concrete, heavy wooden grating) drill holes of about 12 mm in diameter and about 70 mm in depth following the groove on the base of the shower.
4 - Position the plugs and install the solar shower vertically using washers and screws. In PE showers, do not enlarge the fixing holes of the shower/soil as they may puncture the internal tank.
5 - Connect to the water supply. If necessary, use the adapter.
1ST USE
1 - Open the tap (cold or hot water) to let the air inside the shower escape and allow the shower tank to fill up completely.
2 - When water starts to flow out of the shower head, it means that the solar shower tank is full. You can then turn off the shower tap and wait for the water in the tank to be heated by the sun. Cold water is available immediately.
USE
When the water is heated by the sun in summer, a small amount of water may drip from the shower head. This is normal, as the volume of water contained in the shower increases due to the heat. The shower and foot wash can be used separately or at the same time.
simultaneously.
Only the shower and the hand shower provide cold water mixed with hot water. The other elements only provide cold water.
With prolonged use, you may notice a drop in the water temperature as the sun`s intensity becomes insufficient.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
After prolonged use, limescale and other materials are likely to build up inside the shower head.
Turn off the water supply to remove the shower head for washing. The solar shower is designed to be used at an outdoor temperature above 3°C. At the end of the season of use, close the water supply. During the winter season, the water tank must be emptied completely
During the winter season, the tank must be emptied completely in order to avoid damage caused by frost.
At the end of the season it is recommended to empty the shower of water and store it outdoors. Frost and cold can damage the product. Remove the shower head and wash it often to avoid lime residue. The shower is designed to be used at an outside temperature of 3 degrees. After a period of inactivity the seals may dry out or become damaged, so we recommend changing them as necessary.
All accessories (gaskets, faucets, handshowers) are products that are subject to wear and tear and are not covered by the 24 month warranty. They are standard products that can be obtained in any plumbing shop.
ATTENTION
During the hottest days in summer, it is possible that the water inside the tank exceeds 60°C. Before taking a shower you must set the mixer to "cold water", adjust the temperature progressively until you reach a temperature you like. Do not touch the surface of the shower in order to avoid any risk of surface burns.
It is possible that water will continue to flow out after closing the mixer. This is normal and the water will stop flowing out in the following 10 to 15 seconds. Do not use the shower during a thunderstorm to avoid the risk of electrocution. The solar shower is designed to be used under `normal` water supply conditions with an indicative pressure of less than 3 bars (3 kg). If this is not the case, a pressure reducer is required.
